LIBERTY UNIVERSITY – As finals week quickly draws near, countless students on Liberty University’s campus are taking breaks from their studies in order to approach the throne of God in fervent and concentrated prayer.
“It’s encouraging to see the student body really lean in on 1 Peter 5:7 and cast their anxiety on the Lord’s feet,” pastor David Nasser said as he stood up from praying with a student who was too deep in supplication to realize that he was there.
Cases of public intercession will most likely increase as the week intensifies. Campus officials profess that the student’s commitment to prayer in the face of adversity is simply a testament to how the school is truly training champions for Christ.
