LIBERTY – Officials at Liberty University have released a statement saying that when “La La Land” plays during Student Activities’ movie night, all scenes that include dancing will be censored out, to maintain adherence to the Liberty Way.
The officials went on to express that the essence of the film will be maintained given the minor censoring of scenes.
A statement excerpt read:
“We refuse to champion any kind of dancing here at Liberty. The movie should be just as good without those few scenes. As a Christian institution, we simply will not condone any type of rhythmic bodily movement.”
In other news, D-Trex, a hip-hop dance crew sanctioned by the school, is gearing up for a road trip to aid in Liberty’s recruitment efforts.
